Wonton Poppers
Makes:
12 - 14 Wonton Poppers
Ingredients
• 12 - 14 wonton wrappers, thawed
• 1/2 Block Cream Cheese
• 1 Jalapeño deseeded and chopped
• 1/2 Cup Bacon bits
• Water to seal Wontons
• Oil for frying
Preparation
• Mix together Cream Cheese, chopped Jalapeño and Bacon bits until well combined.
• add 1/2 TBSP of mixture to the middle of the thawed wonton, brush the edges of the wonton, bring the bottom corner to the top corner and press along the edges to seal.
• In a frying pan; heat up oil on medium heat
• Once all your Wontons are filled and sealed; place them in the hot oil and fry until golden on both sides, turning wontons once.
• Place on a paper towel to drip off excess oil.
• Enjoy Wonton Poppers hot as an appetizer or side dish.
