Rollkucken

Makes:

Ingredients

• 1 Cup Buttermilk

• 1/2 Cup Cream

• 3 Eggs

• 1.5 tsp salt

• 3 tsp baking powder

• 1/2 tsp baking soda

• 6 cups of Flour (720 grams)

Preparation

• In a stand Mixer or in a large bowl; mix all Ingredients except flour, until all ingredients are well combined.

• Next start adding flour, 1 Cup at a time, attach Dough hook after 3 cups of flour are added.

• Knead until all the flour is incorporated and the dough is soft and not sticky.

• Leave dough in the bowel and set aside to rest for 15 min.

• Roll out dough to about 1 cm of thickness; cut into strips, then rectangles and a 2 inch slit in the middle of the rectangle to make an opening to twist.

• Bring one end of the rectangle, tuck into the slit and pull through.

• In a Skillet or frying pan add oil, about 1 inch and heat over medium high heat.

• Place a few into the heated oil and fry each side until golden on both sides.

• Serve with Delicious Watermelon

*I Measure the flour; 120g for each cup of Flour, some pack it full and some do loosely . That's why some recipes say until soft or hard dough.
