Rollküken

Makes:

24-28 pieces

Ingredients

• 1.5 Cups Buttermilk

• 1 Cup Cream

• 5 Eggs

• 2 tsp salt

• 5 tsp baking powder

• 1 tsp baking soda

• 9 cups of Flour

Preparation

• In a stand Mixer or in a large bowl; mix all Ingredients except flour, until all ingredients are well combined.

• Next start adding flour, 1 Cup at a time, with the Dough hook attachment.

• Knead until all the flour is incorporated and the dough is soft and not sticky.

• Leave dough in the bowel and set aside to rest for 15 min.

• Roll out dough to about 1cm of thickness; cut into strips, then rectangles and a 2 inch slit in the middle of the rectangle.

• In a Skillet or frying pan add oil, about 1 inch and heat over medium high heat.

• Place a few into the heated oil and fry each side until golden on both sides.

• Serve with Delicious Watermelon

*I Measure the flour; 120g for each cup of Flour, some pack it full and some do loosely . That's why some recipes say until soft or hard dough.
