Norteñisimo

Ingredients

Ingredients:

• 2 kg Beef Chuck (Beef stew)

• 2 tsp Salt

• 1 tsp Pepper

• 3 tsp Beef Bouillon powder

• 1 tbsp Oil; for frying

• 2 cans of Beer

• 6 strips of Bacon; chopped

• 1 Cup Ham pieces

• 1/2 Onion; chopped

• 2 Jalapeños; chopped

• 1/2 Red Bell Pepper; chopped

• 1/2 Cup shredded Mozzarella Cheese

• 1 - 2 TBSP Soy sauce

• 1 - 2 TBSP Worcestershire sauce

Preparation

• Cut Beef Chuck into smaller pieces

• Season with Salt, Pepper and Beef Bouillon powder.

• In a skillet; heat over medium heat, add oil and beef. Fry beef until just browned on all sides.

• Transfer Beef to Slow Cooker, add Beer to completely cover Beef. *The Beer makes the Beef very tender.

• Cook on Low for 6 hours or on High for 3 hours.

• Meanwhile fry chopped Bacon, strain and set aside in a seperate container.

• In the same skillet; Add chopped onions, cook until just translucent. Then add in Ham, Jalapeños and Red Bell pepper. Cook until vegetables are soft.

• After Slow Cooker timer is up; add cooked Bacon, Ham and Vegetable mixture to the Slow Cooker and cook for 1 more hour on Low or 1/2 hour on High.

• Stir in 1 TBSP of Soy sauce and 1 TBSP of Worcestershire Sauce, stir and taste. Add 1 more TBSP of each if necessary. *Soy sauce is extremely salty, don't add to much.

• Serve Hot, top with Mozzarella Cheese.
