Camaron Ranchero

Shrimp Soup

Makes:

4 - 5 Servings

Ingredients

- 1 TBSP Butter

- 1/2 Onion; chopped

- 1 Garlic glove; minced

- 1 - 2 Jalapeño; chopped 

- 1 lb Shrimp, cleaned, deveined and tail off and rinsed.

- 4 Cups Water

- 1 TBSP Tomato Boulloin powder

- 1 TBSP Chicken or Shrimp Bouillon powder

- 1 tsp Salt

- 1/2 tsp Black pepper

- 1 TBSP Soy Sauce

- 1 TBSP Worcestershire sauce

- 1 Cup Tomato Juice 

Preparation

- In a large sized cooking pot, turn heat to medium high; add Butter, chopped Onions and minced garlic. Cook until onions are slightly translucent. 

- Add chopped Jalapeños, cook for another minute. Stir occasionally.

- Add in Shrimp, stirring occasionally. Cook for 5 minutes.

- Add in Water, Boulloin powders, salt, pepper, sauces and Tomato juice. Stir , cover and bring to a boil.

- Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes

- Serve Hot with your favorite sides

~ We enjoy a side of Bread to dip in the Sauce.
